Mrs. Amani Hamed

Mrs. Hamed is the Chairman of OKAZ Stockbrokers and OKAZ Asset Management. Mrs Hamed has been an active contributor to the development of the Egyptian Capital Market. She has over 35 years of experience in the field of investments. in her role as founder and board member of the Egyptian Capital Market Association for 6 consecutive years, and as head of its Stock Exchange Committee.  She also sat on the board of the Egyptian Stock- Exchange for three years. Furthermore, she co-chaired the Investment and Capital Markets Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce for two years.

Mrs. Hamed holds a Bachelor’s degree (with high honors) and a Masters Degree in Economics from The American University in Cairo.

She graduated from the German School(DEO) with high school degree of Abitur.

She also attended several study programs in the investments industry in the U.S.

Mr. Hamed Mohamed‎ Hamed

Mr. Hamed enjoys extensive experience of over 30 years in the brokerage industry. He has a strong track record in the field of brokerage operations.

Prior to being the Managing Director of OKAZ  Mr. Hamed held the position of General Manager where he oversaw the Dealing, Back Office, Accounting and Compliance departments.

 Thanks to his efforts OKAZ has been able to hold strong in the face of many operational hazards typical of brokerage operations in emerging stock markets, which usually lack efficient surveillance systems.

Mr. Hamed started his career as Internal Auditor in the office of Hazem Hassan KPMG,

He holds A Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Cairo University 1987, and is a graduate of the German DEO School.

Mr. Hamed also obtained several professional certificates in the felid of Investment and Brokerage operations in Egypt and overseas.  

Mr. Mohamed Laban ‎

Mr. Laban brings in over 35 years of experience in the Financial & Administrative fields.  He joined OKAZ team since 2018 as CFO. He has over 20 years of experience in the Banking & Asset Management Sector. Mr.Laban  started his career at Cairo Barclays Bank then moved on  to Barclays bank London  at L/C,s - L/G,s - foreign exchange and finally at Arab International Bank as head of documentary credits and authorized signatory of the bank. Mr.Laban served as Financial & Administrative Manager of many Asset Management Companies. Mr.Laban holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from faculty of Commerce Cairo University 1984.

Mr. Tamer Shaban ‎

Mr. Shaban is currently heading the Operations Department at OKAZ Stockbrokers.

He is supervising the back office operations of order routing, settlement and corporate actions and is also in charge of the company database .

Mr. Tamer enjoys extensive experience in brokerage operations.

He started his career with OKAZ in 1998 as an accountant handling banks and clients accounts and later moved on to the position of Internal Auditor from 2005 till 2010 .

Mr. Shaban holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Cairo University 2000.  He has also obtained several professional certificates in brokerage operations.

Eng. Omar El Kheshen ‎

Omar ElKheshen is the founder & MD of Bareeq Capital, a developer and investor in infrastructure projects with a social impact. He serves on the board of a number of pioneering companies in healthcare, education, renewable energy, security and financial services across EMEA. Prior to that, Mr. ElKheshen was in management consulting working for Kearney in Chicago. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Mrs. Randa Hamed

Randa Hamed is Managing Director and Board Member of OKAZ Asset Management and a former Board Member of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), with over 25 years of leadership in capital markets. She has a proven track record in building long-term investment strategies and managing tailored portfolios for high-net-worth and institutional clients across multiple market cycles.

A defining pillar of her career is client trust, with long-standing relationships maintained since the firm’s establishment in 2007. Her experience spans periods of market volatility, reform, and structural transformation, shaping a disciplined, risk-aware, and pragmatic investment approach.

Ms. Hamed has held senior roles across both market practice and institutional frameworks, including leadership positions at OKAZ Stockbrokers and OKAZ Asset Management. She also serves as a Board Member of the Egyptian Capital Market Federation (ECMF), where she heads the Training Committee, and as Vice Chairperson of the Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA).

She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the American University in Cairo, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods. She is a Certified Financial Technical Analyst (CFTe) and a Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) and remains actively engaged in advancing financial literacy and market professionalism through industry forums and media.

Shaimaa Fouad Ahmed (CFA)

Focused on transforming financial data and fundamental analysis into actionable investment insights, with a strong emphasis on understanding how macroeconomic variables reshape market opportunities.

Experienced in the capital markets since 2007, progressing through several roles in the financial industry, and acquired broad experience before joining Okaz in 2020.

Bachelor holder in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University 2004
