The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session on a varied note. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.16% to close Thursday's trading session at 3,296.06 points. A total of 115.60 million shares were traded through 5,437 transactions valued at AED 302.19 million. Emirates Refreshments Company led the rising stocks with 8.47%, while Al Firdous Holding topped the losing stocks with 10%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down 0.17% to settle at 9,502.6 points by the end of Thursday's session. Turnover amounted to AED 1.75 billion after 225.37 million shares had been exchanged through 10,454 transactions. National Marine Dredging Co. (NMDC) came on top of the green zone with 6.47%, while Aram Group headed the red zone with 9.26%.
