Egypt's gas production declines during the first 9 months of this year by about 10.4%

Egypt's gas production declined during the first 9 months of this year by about 10.4%  to reach 45.23 billion cubic meters compared to 50.5 billion cubic meters during the same period last year. Production fell in September alone to the lowest level since January 2023, reaching 4.695 billion cubic meters, compared to 4.999 billion cubic meters in August. Egypt has not exported any quantities of liquefied natural gas since last April, stabilizing exports at 3.37 billion cubic meters, but imported about 6.7 billion cubic meters of compressed gas through pipelines during the first 9 months of this year, compared to 4.4 billion cubic meters during the same period last year.
