SPA- The Egyptian stock market closed higher today, with the market capitalization of listed companies gaining approximately EGP 34 billion to reach EGP 4.452 trillion. Total trading volume reached approximately EGP 21.3 billion, while share market transactions amounted to approximately EGP 15.5 billion. The benchmark EGX 30 index rose by 0.72% to reach 56,676.16 points, while the EGX 70 index for small and medium-sized enterprises increased by 1.48% to reach 21,618.27 points. The broader EGX 100 index also climbed by approximately 1.13% to reach 28,213.87 points.
